Woood™ sunglasses starts its life as 100% natural woods its then hand crafted according to the designs of experienced South African designers. Combine this with 100% UVA and UVB protection lenses that are fully polarized and slap on full stainless steel double spring hinges and you have the perfect mix of looks, functionality, protection and robustness. Our polarized lenses compare superbly when compared to names like Ray Ban, Oakley and Von Zipper to name a few. It has the same amount of protection as given by a pair of Ray Ban sunglasses with the added benefit that they are uniquely made from 100% real wood.

Currently our range consists of sunglasses specifically picked and designed for the South African people. Some of our range includes:

• The Chocolate maple series:  is the ultimate in dark natural beauty. It’s made from premium Merbau wood, has brown polarized lenses with 100% UVA/UVB protection. Double spring stainless steel hinges round these beauties off perfectly.

• The WooWood series:  is the perfect mix of classy style and jaw dropping uniqueness. It’s made from premium Maple wood and has blue polarized lenses with 100% UVA/UVB protection. The same double spring stainless steel hinges round these beauties off.

• The BAMMboo series:  lives up to its name in exploding on the scene with style and uniqueness. It’s made from 100% natural Bamboo, has red polarized lenses with 100% UVA/UVB protection. Again robustness, quality and comfort are our focus and therefore our signature double spring stainless steel hinges are an added bonus.

Best of all is a natural look is a timeless look! Our mechanics are non-hacking twenty-one (21) jewel movement with a uni-directional winding system (left rotation) with accuracy of -20 to +40 seconds per day. This technology is the exact same as watch makers are using in high end brands like Fossil watches, Invicta, Citizen Watches, etc.

The Miyota cal 8215 is an indirect sweep seconds design, very common in Swiss watches of even very high grades in the past.
